I (Magnús) am the captain and engineer of the boat. The boat is private and not used for any business. It is just my new way of life. My goal this summer is to sail among the islands of Croatia and Greece and enjoy nature and the sea. I love having people around me to enjoy this with me.
I want my crewmates to be clean and tidy, diligent, discreet, easy-going, enthusiastic, fit and healthy, friendly, organised, respectful, skilled, trustworthy, good communicators, eager to learn and work, polite, positive outlook, open-minded, enjoys cooking, doesn't mind cleaning, can follow orders and will not bring a pet.
Sometimes, we might have a cook. If we don't, then we all share the cooking. I prefer a restricted diet onboard. So we need to shop for food that everyone likes. The crewmates will do light work like assisting the cooking, cleaning and shining the boat and a deckhand when leaving and entering the harbour or mooring. On anchor, someone must stay night watch. There will be plenty of time for sunbathing, swimming, and playing with the sea toys.
All beds have linen. There is a washing machine and a dryer onboard.
Which of you wants to work out, meditate, do yoga, etc.? There are spaces around the boat that can be used. It's yours to find a suitable place.
Sometimes, I get guests, family members, or others, and you might have to squeeze together in the crew cabin. Whether you can have a private cabin depends on how many are onboard each time.
You should bring your things, cosmetics and a toothbrush. It's mandatory to put in a good mood. I will provide other things that you might need except personal stuff.
But keep in mind...
When leaving or entering a harbour or anchoring or mooring to a buoy, it is mandatory to obey the captain.
But you may criticise him.
